We have the most efficient and modern physical distribution centers which serve affiliate needs both nation wide or regionally. Those centers include grocery warehouses and perishable goods warehouses which handle produce, seafood, and meats as well as delicatessen, dairy, and frozen foods. Also, we have excellent computer systems for receiving and processing orders from the stores located in all parts of Japan. We distribute merchandise to each store within the shortest time possible. Merchandise is delivered to each store on rolling carts to save on labor costs. Furthermore, we are preparing to deliver merchandise from manufactures to sales floors on the same rolling cart to eliminate any duplicated material handling, through the adoption of a new rolling cart system. This will further reduce costs and speed up delivery.
We continue to improve our physical distribution operation and its related information systems in order to supply products for CGC members at the lowest possible costs from the makers to the shelves on the sales floor of each store.

In addition to above, we have many physical distribution facilities that are operated by local organizations of CGC JAPAN members.
Many of those distribution facilities are operated efficiently utilizing Cross Docking System supported by a Quick Response (QR) method utilizing computer network technology connecting retailers ,producers and suppliers.
